Minnesota and Wisconsin Appellate Law Attorneys

If there’s one thing we want you to take away from our website, it’s how committed we are to getting you 100% of the compensation you deserve for your injuries.  We will not stop until we have done everything we can to achieve that goal.  Sometimes we can go to trial, present your case, provide compelling arguments for everything we believe to be true, leave it in the court’s hands and still come away with an unacceptable outcome.

Do I Have A Case?
appellate law attorneys and minnesota lawyer

One option may be to appeal to a higher court.  If we believe the outcome was wrong in any way, we will appeal the ruling to have any errors reviewed in order ensure your rights are fully protected.  An appeal is not a whole new trial.  Instead of a jury, there is a panel of judges who review the lower court’s ruling.  The appellate court can overturn the lower court’s decision or send it back to the lower court for a new trial.

When we feel that our clients’ rights haven’t been fully served by the court, the appellate law lawyers at Woods & Thompson, P.A. will not hesitate to appeal your case to a higher court.  Appeals require a tremendous amount of care and skill to be successful.  Make sure the attorney handling your case has the commitment and expertise to convincingly present your case at an appellate level.
